The Breakfast Group continued its generous giving and was able to secure three more computers to help students in need this past October.
Two more students recently received new computers in January thanks to the generosity of the members of The Breakfast Club.
Members of The Breakfast Club, a real estate networking group, will speak on Saturday, July 24th at the Inner Faith Church in Yonkers. The workshop is titled “How to Buy Your First Home - What and Who You Need to Know” and is hosted by Bishop Nelson.
Two students in need recently received new computers thanks to the generosity of a business group called The Breakfast Club, a networking group with members from Rockland and Westchester. That brings the total to four since December when the group decided to help students who were struggling with school assignments due to the pandemic. The goal is to donate as many as possible over the next 12 months.
General Needs, a nonprofit organization that focuses on helping homeless Veterans and their families by providing basic necessities through charitable donations and support, received a $500 donation from The Breakfast Club, a networking group based out of Westchester. The money will be used to purchase 20 winter coats for Veterans.
Westchester is pulling for White Plains resident John Habermann in his courageous battle with ALS. Friends and family have organized a special event, scheduled for October 22, when they will escort John in his wheelchair across the Mario Cuomo Bridge from Rockland to Westchester and back, using the new pedestrian path.
